Concepci\u00f3n: <\/strong>El Ministro Federal de Cooperaci\u00f3n Econ\u00f3mica y Desarrollo, Dr. Gerd M\u00fcller y el comisionado de la Uni\u00f3n Europea (UE) de Acci\u00f3n por el Clima y Energ\u00eda, Miguel Arias Ca\u00f1ete, junto con los representantes de alto nivel de KfW, CAF, CABEI, Banco Mundial, ESMAP, BID, AfD, EIB, JICA, NDF, BGR y GIZ pusieron en marcha el Fondo de Desarrollo Geot\u00e9rmico (GDF) para Latinoam\u00e9rica en el marco de la COP20 en Lima, Per\u00fa, en diciembre del 2014.<\/p>\n

Iniciaci\u00f3n:<\/strong> anunciado el 25 de abril de 2016 en la mesa redonda del Banco Mundial\/ESMAP GGDP, en Reikiavik, Islandia.<\/p>\n

Inicio Esperado del Fondo:<\/strong> cuarto trimestre de 2016 (Q4, 2016).<\/p>\n

Primera convocatoria esperada de Expresiones de inter\u00e9s (EOI por siglas en ingl\u00e9s):<\/strong> primer trimestre de 2017 (Q1, 2017).<\/p>\n

Proveedores de Subvenciones:<\/strong> El Ministerio Federal de Cooperaci\u00f3n Econ\u00f3mica y Desarrollo (BMZ),<\/a> La Uni\u00f3n Europea a trav\u00e9s del Fondo de Inversi\u00f3n para Latinoam\u00e9rica (UE-LAIF)<\/a>, respectivamente, a trav\u00e9s del Banco de Desarrollo de KfW. Se prev\u00e9n subvenciones adicionales por parte de los miembros donantes del Grupo de las Partes Interesadas y de terceros. Est\u00e1 previsto que los miembros del Grupo de Partes Interesadas y terceros donantes concedan m\u00e1s subvenciones.<\/p>\n
