The funding intensity for drilling grants will be increased

GDF’s Data Protection Principles
Protecting your privacy is a matter of importance. We will collect, process, and utilize only data that applicants supply voluntarily.
All data provided by an applicant will be used exclusively with regard to management of the Fund and pertinent grants. For administrative and legal reasons, all applicants must permit the use of the data and release the Fund Managers from all liability regarding proprietary data and security. As such, once data is voluntarily provided by the applicant it is not considered proprietary by the Fund Managers for the purpose of managing the data, the fund, or related activities. By submitting an Expression of Interest and a grant application, either for surface studies or drilling activities, the applicant implicitly understands and agrees to these data protection principles and releases the Fund Managers and the donor institutions, such as KfW from claims and liability for the use of the information.

On Monday, 8 December 2014, the KfW Development Bank organized a side event at UNFCCC COP20 to launch the Geothermal Development Facility (GDF). This video by IISD Reporting Services highlights key components of the Facility, including the Mitigation Risk Fund and the Technical Assistance Forum.
